The AFF course is designed for those who:
- are getting ready to become skydivers;
- started taking AFF lessons at a drop zone and want to do without expensive rejumps;
- feel they need to master their body control skills in freefall before they make independent jumps;
- take extra care of safety during their dives.

Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) stands for the accelerated freefall training course. Once a novice completes an AFF course, he/she will be allowed to make independent jumps. Wind tunnel flying will maximize the effectiveness of the training process and help complete an AFF course a lot faster.

When flying in a wind tunnel, a skydiver masters his/her skills, learns to maintain the correct body position in the air, acquires invaluable personal experience and corrects mistakes.

In order to successfully complete an AFF course and have a skydiving license, a beginner jumper needs to master the following basic elements:

- stable body position;
- imitation of canopy opening and canopy opening signals;
- 360° turns in both directions;
- forward and backward maneuvering;
- belly to back and back to belly flips and rolls.

The recommended duration of a single trainings session is 15 to 30 minutes depending on individual progress.

If you have no gear of your own, we will provide you with everything you will require. If you cannot find a partner to share your time in the wind tunnel, we will arrange shifts between the flying sessions.

After every session you will be able to take the video of your flight for review, correction of mistakes and postflight analysis with your coach.

What are the benefits of wind tunnel flying for an AFF student?

Proper technique The instructor is always next to the student, guiding him/her in the tunnel during the flight and indicating his/her mistakes and correcting them between the flying sessions. This approach saves you time and rejump money.

No fear A novice always experiences fear and stress during each dive, which often prevents him/her from taking in important information and knowledge. However, in a wind tunnel, a person always feels completely safe and learns much faster than in the sky.

Safety All sessions take place under the supervision of specially trained instructors. The air flow rate is controlled by the operator every second, and the special gear that the flyer rents on site will protect him/her against any unexpected situations.

Comfort The Letarium vertical wind tunnel is installed in an enclosed room, so you are welcome to fly at any time of the year. Furthermore, it is very easy to get here, with three Metro stations nearby. We are only a 15-minute drive from downtown.

The RW course is designed for those who:
- have recently completed an AFF course and want to improve individual skills;
- feel they need to improve some RW elements individually or in a team;
- want to improve their RW skills fast and effectively in order to take part in 2D formations and various classes of events;
- take extra care of safety during their dives.

What is RW?

Relative Work (RW) stands for formation skydiving and envisages the building of formations by freefalling jumpers both vertically and horizontally.

During the last few years, this discipline has become enormously popular among extreme sports enthusiasts — this sport is relatively easy to practice, and skydivers are sure to enjoy a tremendous adrenaline rush during every skydive.

An RW course comprises the basics of relative work, theory, and training of the following skills:
- correct body position;
- booties work;
- arm action, grips and breakoffs;
- horizon control;
- forward and backward maneuvering;
- rotations of any degrees in any direction;
- formation work: discipline, intensive floating, braking before approach, grip;
- work in pairs: discipline, rotations, blocks.

What is FF?

3D Freefly (FF) is an unusual spectacular skydiving discipline. Its essence can be described in two words: “excitement” and “speed”. There are no limits in FreeFly: you can fly any way you like — sitting, standing, on your head, or in circles head over heels.

FreeFly is a sport for daredevils. Dives are made at ultrahigh speeds of 250–300 kilometers per hour, which is why FreeFly is one of the most spectacular and dangerous skydiving disciplines. Safety rules always need to be front and center for any FF student.

- back flying, net stand;
- basic sit;
- vertical and horizontal maneuvering in the sitting position;

- head down formation techniques;
- dynamic flights, carves, layouts, etc.
